Lightning Experience - At this moment, we are recommending customers to not use Lightning experience for Ascent.
Lightning version VisualForce Page for PWO
When using lightning we have noticed that after completing the PWO, the visualforce page does not refresh and update PWO page fields properly. This will be corrected in the next release.
Lightning version of Master Planner and POs
When using the Master planner in lightning mode our internal team knows that after clicking the "Create PO" and if you click on the PO itself, it shows the PO in classic mode, with no tabs to leave the page. This issue will be corrected once SFDC corrects their internal issue. https://success.salesforce.com/issues_view?id=a1p3A0000001Cu8QAE
AscentERP Main
Staging when using Locations
If customers use staging as a part of their business process with locations, an error occurs when a line has a quantity of 0, because it's unable to be staged at that time. This will be addressed in the next release. This issue only occurs if the users are using Locations, not with lots.
"Make Dwo" with Pallets
We have implemented a new button called "Make DWO" on the PWO. (please review "Bugs" section for more information). Make DWO only works with Lots and the custom setting "Use Lot Average Cost for Recorded Cost". It does not work with Pallets.
Improvements
Pallet Content reports
Many customers that use Pallets have always had to make develop a new report to find out what's on their pallets. We have embedded a report into our package to streamline the transition of using pallets. The report will show the customer name, pallet id, sales order, reference numbers, order dates, items on the pallet and their quantities. You can access this button by editing your layout on the sales order object and adding the custom button to your normal layout.
Validation rule added for Sales orders using "Pack Allocated Order"
Customers using allocation lines and the pack allocated order buttons were noticing discrepancies when the sales orders were being deleted. The system was originally allowing users to delete allocated orders. We have added a validation rule for these type of orders that tells the user "Packed or Partially Complete sales orders can not be deleted".
Additional Critical onClick JavaScript Buttons to be Converted
We have converted three more buttons from using JavaScript. They are the "Create Sales Order" on the Contact and Account object and "Create Quote" on the Account object
Create Sales Order from Quote in Lightning
Customers that want to use lightning saw that they could not create a sales order from quotes. This has been added in this release.
Pop up window details display from Sales Purchase Planner
We have added a new column to Sales Purchase Planner that shows a summation of all quantities on order. That column is hyperlinked, such that a user can click it, and it will give you a pop up window of the current Purchase Orders for that item.
Chatter Feed Default On
We have decided to turn the chatter feeds on by default for Ascent Objects.
Mobile Menu Enhancement
When customers use the "Move Item" button they could not see the available quantity in the particular lot or location. We have added this information to the mobile menu.
We have added the ability to allocate line items by implementing the picking work order button onto the Sales Order option on the mobile menu. They can scan the work order number, scan the items and lot then enter quantity. If they click confirm then it will create an allocation lines for work order then user can pack the so using "pick so" on mobile menu.
Drop Ship for Phantom BOMs
Customers let us know that sometimes they have to drop a Phantom BOM. It will work such that, a user will be able to add a phantom bom as Sales Order Line item. The user can then drop ship the phantom BOM on a new Drop Ship PO as a line item, but will also show all the components. This is a new valuable feature.
Lightning Version of Count lines
We have added the lightning version of Count lines as the main page.
Trade agreement lookup added to the Quote Line Field Set
Some customers do not want certain users to see the price and cost fields on opportunities and quotes, so they use the custom setting "Do Not Show Cost on SO Opp Quote Lines". However, if the sales person is trying to work on the deal they would like them to be able to add a Trade agreement. The lookup is available to add to the Quote line field set, but is not there by default.
Ship lot needs to carry source lot average cost
This need is only for customers using the "Use lot average cost for recorded cost". When customers are shipping inventory internally if they need to track the average cost from lot to another. We have made it such that if you fill the ship to, as a user in the org, and pack out to this user, it will transfer the lot average cost from the original lot as the recorded cost in the packed SO line.
Calculate Tax on Sales Order line
Previously we could only calculate tax if the item and quantity was updated, but it did not take the discount field into account. We have updated our trigger to make sure it includes the Sales Order header discount percentage, line discount percentage, and discount amount in calculating the line.
Use Tax Code with Purchase Order and Vendor Invoice
To use tax code with PO and VI, user need to enable custom setting "Use Tax Codes on PO/VI". To get tax calculated on PO lines and VI lines, user need to enable custom setting "Calculate Tax at Line Items on PO/VI".
There is another custom setting "Apply Freight Before Sales Tax On PO" to decide when to calculate Freight into Final Order Total for PO and VI. If the custom setting is on, Final Order Total = (Net Order Total + Freight) * (1+ Sales Tax%); if the custom setting is off, Final Order Total = Net Order Total * (1 + Sales Tax%) + Freight Amount.
Entities and locations
Customers that use entities needed the system to be more streamlined. We have made it such that, if a user changes a locations entity, all the lots associated to that location also change to that particular entity
When customers are using user entities, if the new location is created with active user entity then location currency will automatically changes to active entity currency.
When the "Use Entities" custom setting is enabled, there should only be one user entity record per user.
When users are doing inventory adjustments it will only show lots that are related to the active entity
Added a Return to the Carton object
Previously there was no linkage between the Return and Carton object. We have added a lookup field on the Carton object to the Return record to correct this issue.
Bug Fixes
Lightning VisualForce Page issues found during testing
Trade Agreements for Accounts - Discount column was hanging off and not contained within the page. This was corrected
Lot to Lot movement - There was an extra dialogue box with no help text associated. It was removed and resolved.
Case: Process RMA Lines - when clicking on the lots drop down, it gave a null reference error. This was quickly corrected.
Adding BOM lines - Users noticed they were able to "Save" blank lines. We also added a cancel line to make it easier to remove lines.

Create RMA not working with Purchase Orders
During testing, there was an error occurring when trying to create an RMA for cases from a Purchase Order. This was quickly corrected.
Bulk Item movement not working with Lots
When using the Bulk Item Movement page, it only shows options for "From Location" and "To Location", but no option for "From Lot" and "To Lot". If the customer is using lots, the system will decide to create a new Lot in the name of the "From Lot" and put it under "To location". This will confuse users. We have added made such that if you are using lots it will show "From Lot" and "To Lot".
Locations not showing
During testing, our team noticed that when lots are turned off, and a user is trying to pack out an item, it does not show all available locations. This was swiftly corrected.

Refresh not working in Sales Purchase Planner
Customers noticed that the Sales Purchase Planner was not working as expected. When users tried to click the "Refresh" button on the page, because new data put in, the system would stay stagnant. Users also noticed that if they tried to filter against only" Purchase Orders" or "Production Work Orders", it would not work. Both issues were corrected.
Allocated Quantities for BOM Components
During testing we noticed that when a user would allocate quantity against a Non-phantom Bom, it would also allocate the components of the Bom underneath. This would cause double allocation. This was promptly corrected.
"Create SO" not working in Lightning
When users are in lightning they should be able to use the "Create SO" button from opportunities. This was quickly corrected.
When testing we found an error when processing a Return Line. A token error was occurring when clicking process. This was corrected during the testing process.
Quote Cloning Error
Customers noticed then when they used the "Clone Quote" button in our Quote object, the lines associated to the Quote would be rearranged. This has been corrected.
Deconstruct Work Order (DWO) errors out with Lot Average Cost custom setting
Customers testing out 2.23 noticed that when the custom setting "Use Lot Average Cost of Recorded Cost" was enabled, the DWO function for Production work orders did not work. After completing a DWO, the lot average cost for where BOM components are received will be updated properly. That was fixed in this release.

Customers pointed out that you couldn't scroll on our new lightning visualforce pages, specifically the Allocation grid per item and BOM versioning. This was corrected.
Inventory Adjustments not showing location
During testing, we found the the inventory adjustments visualforce page was not showing locations properly. We have quickly corrected that.
Mobile Menu Corrections
During internal testing we noticed that Receive PO and Cycle counts when using lots were not showing the lots properly on the mobile menu. This is quickly corrected.
Price Field on Return Lines
During testing we saw that when users were making a return line, the price field was empty. When making a return it will show price respective of the type. See below.
Return from SO: price on return line is the price from sales order line.
Return from PO: price on return line is the price from purchase order line.
Independent Return type "from customer": price on return line is the sales price of item master.
Independent Return type "to vendor": price on return line is the cost of item master.
