Often times, a vendor will notify you that there is a problem with a particular lot that they’ve shipped to you. They will provide you with a lot number, and at that point, you can trace what products were produced as a result of this lot, and which customers received goods containing that lot.
First, select the appropriate lot. In our example, the lot will be 0317201609:19:21Green Beans.
Then, follow the Movement Lines to see what lots this lot went into.
Then, click one of the “To Lot” entries
Then, continue the process of clicking the “To Lot”.
Eventually, you’ll get to the top of the lot chain when you see an entry into the “Shipped Sales Order Line (Lot)” hover screen. Click on the sales order number.
